REMEMBRANCE DAY STATUES
Birtley Galvanizing has supported North-East RWT Fabrications, with the creation of ten iron Remembrance Day war memorials.
The identical memorials are situated in various locations throughout County Durham including Croxdale, Kelloe, Bowburn, Quarrington Hill, Sunderland Bridge and Hett.
Each piece stands six feet tall and resembles the silhouette of a life-size World War One soldier. The project was funded by Spennymoor and East Durham Rural Corridor Area Action Partnerships (AAPs).
RWT Fabrications chose to work with Birtley to hot-dip galvanize the statues due to the company’s ability to provide a quality service and 72 hour turnaround as standard.
